The Mitsubishi Pajero has been part of Australia’s greatest adventures since 1983. from uluru to the Bungle Bungles, and, more importantly, back again. The Pajero boasts advanced, powerful, fuel-efficient engines through a 3.8 litre MIvec petrol and a powerful 3.2 litre common rail turbo diesel.
All Pajeros are equipped with MATT™ (Mitsubishi All Terrain Technology), and a multitude of advanced driver confidence systems. Pajero also boasts a tough rISe (reinforced Impact Safety evolution) monocoque body design for outstanding protection plus the availability of safety features such as side and curtain SrS airbags, reversing sensors and reversing camera.

Multi-Media System
long family drives just got shorter with a 9” fullcolour panoramic screen, which includes two infrared cordless headphones so your rear passengers can watch a DvD and not bother other passengers. They can even plug into an auxiliary jack that is compatible with multi-media devices such as game consoles and digital cameras.

Pajero offers a choice of intelligent transmissions perfectly matched to your preferred driving style. A smooth-shifting 5-speed, all syncromesh manual gearbox available on the turbo diesel delivers ultimate hands-on driving experience. Or if you prefer automatic, the InvecS II ‘Smart logic’ 5-speed automatic transmission with Sports Mode mated up to the 3.8 litre v6 or the turbo diesel will be sure to provide the control you need.

Mitsubishi’s rISe (reinforced Impact Safety evolution) monocoque body system with integrated chassis is a highly rigid one-piece shell that has come through the punishing ups and downs of the world’s toughest rally. In the event of an accident, the super-strength cabin’s impact-absorbing crushable zones minimise impact to passengers. reinforced critical points increase stability for handling and the rISe body also provides strength for recovery and towing.
The reversing camera supplements the driver’s rear field of view by automatically appearing on screen when reverse gear is engaged. In models that have the MMcS feature, the rear view will show on the MMcS screen. In models without MMcS, where reversing camera is available, the camera’s view will appear in the electro chromatic rear view mirror. combined with reverse parking sensors that alert you when objects get a little close, parking your Pajero is easy.
Standard Supplementary restraint System (SrS) airbags on all models provide essential protection in the event of a frontal collision.
for optimal protection of driver and passengers – front and back – in the event of a side-on collision. The side airbags inflate from the side of the seat and the curtain airbags activate from the roof.
